Owner and founder, Janet Williams has a passion for holistic whole body balance and care and thrives on her ability to care for and ease away her client’s aches and pains. She is a graduate of the Tri-Cities Beauty School, the Holston Institute of Healing Arts, East Tennessee State University with her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing and just graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from Lincoln Memorial University. In her spare time, Williams works as a Registered Nurse at the Johnson City Community Health Center where she serves those in the community that are without healthcare coverage. Williams’s commitment to beauty and wellbeing shines through in her every contribution. Although her primary role is managing the day-to-day business at Body, Health, & Mind Center, she has extensive, specialized training in facials, massage therapy, brow shaping and design, manicures and pedicures, waxing, OPI, Creative Nails, and Shellac in addition to the Framesi, Aquage, and Nioxin color and hair care lines.
Audie Lacy is one of BHMC’s amazing front desk/customer service associates. As a Johnson City native, she has a wealth of knowledge about the Tri-Cities and believes strongly in serving the community. She is studying Interior Design and brings personality and style to her position at the front desk. She also loves making clients feel welcome and valued.
Lead Massage Therapist
Rhonda graduated from Reflections of Health School of Massage in 2006 and has been us since the beginning of her career. Now as our Lead Massage Therapist, she thrives on being able to help her clients meet their goals on the road to better health. Through Deep Tissue Massage and stretching techniques designed to rehabilitate muscles and reduce pain, Rhonda helps her clients relieve stress, improve circulation, and release pain and tension, all while aiding in their general wellness. Her skills are especially helpful when it comes to relieving neck and shoulder pain as well as Sciatic nerve pain. Rhonda’s expansive range of services includes Hot Stone, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, and Sports Massage in addition to exfoliating mud wraps, ear candling, and aromatherapy.
Tonya decided to become a Massage Therapist because she wanted to help people live happy and healthy lives. After graduating from Holston Institute of Healing Arts in 2001, Tonya earned her License of Massage Therapy. With over 15 years’ experience, Tonya uses massage in a number of therapeutic ways to help her patients reach their goals. Tonya will carefully plan each massage in accordance with the clients' needs and requests. She integrates various modalities to reach session goals. Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, cranio-sacral therapy, aromatherapy and myofascial stretches are among the methods used to provide a therapeutic and genuinely relaxing massage to help people feel better.
Jennifer has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2006; she graduated from the Tennessee School of Therapeutic Massage of Knoxville, and has an associate’s degree in Exercise Science. She enjoys meeting new people and assisting them on their journey of healing and health. Jennifer is trained in deep tissue, hot stone, pregnancy, and sports massage, PNF stretching, reflexology, TPT and myofascial release just to name a few. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nutrition at ETSU where she recently earned a Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health with a concentration in nutrition.
Mary received her training from Reflections of Health School of Massage in 2010. She specializes in Swedish massage. She is also experienced and knowledgeable in Prenatal, Therapeutic, scalp and face and Integrative Massage and Hot Stone Therapy. She has a great awareness and deep respect for the human body and its ability to heal. She brings a gentle demeanor and heart centered approach to her profession she loves helping people relax when in this day and age we are all over stimulated and over worked. She loves giving people the calm moments in their over stressed lives.
Beth Ann Rice
As a licensed cosmetologist, Beth loves helping her clients manifest their inner beauty through the transformative power of hair and skin. Beth especially enjoys working with fashion-forward clients with an eye for the latest trends. Graduating from the Jenny Lea Academy in 2008, during that time, she has developed a devoted following of clients. She has been with us since 2010, since then Beth has specialized in advanced color techniques and has extensive training in the Aquage, Aveda and Glo Therapeutics hair and skin care lines. Her range of services includes hair coloring and cutting, Keratin treatments, hair retexturizing, waxing, and facials. Beth is in the process of expanding her advanced skin care degree by acquiring her Aesthetics license.
For Dominique Bowen, the best part of her job is making her clients look and feel great. She enjoys being a part of that particular happiness in their lives and has a gift for listening and understanding the needs of her clients. She graduated from Jenny Lea Academy and has been with us as a Cosmetologist since 2008. While Brazilian and full-body waxing, brow and lash tinting, and eyebrow design are her specialty, Dominique’s range of services also includes hair sculpting, color placement techniques, signature pedicures, Shellac manicures, and facials. She also has specialized training in Swartzkopf, Framesi, and Pravanna color lines as well as Glo Minerals makeup and skin care line.
A 2007 graduate of Charter College of Cosmetology, Natalie has had specialized training with Schwarzkopf, Wella, L'oreal, ad Redken. Natalie loves being able to meet new people, showing and teaching them what their hair can do, and giving them the tools they need to have beautiful hair. Her favorite services to offer are cutting, styling, and color, but smoothing treatments are her specialty.
What Erica loves most about her job as a nail technician is meeting new people. The friendships and bonds she has established with her clients over the years are the highlight of her career. She graduated from Tri-Cities Beauty College in 2004 and has been with us from the start of her career. During that time she has acquired many certifications to include reflexology and diabetic foot care. She has honed her skills as a nail technician who specializes in Shellac polish. Aside from manicures and pedicures, Erica also tends to natural nail care, cuticle, and callus detail.
A 2014 graduate of Tri Cities Beauty College, Jenna specializes in designs and nail enhancements. Her focus is on keeping your nails clean and healthy while giving you a beautiful new look.
