Maybe you saw a program on public television recently, “In Defense of Food?” A good, comprehensive, objective look at what can be an emotional issue.
Food is nourishment necessary for the body to exist. Simple, right? We all know better. Food can be comfort, celebration, naughty pleasure, or a demonstration of how we care. It’s January and most of us have some kind of thought to eating better or eating less or eating easier but in the midst of good intentions, and resolutions toward eating, take a deep breath and relax.
Food is not the enemy—and this is terribly important: your body is not your enemy. Treat it well. Be kind. Cut it some slack. (Ladies, we’re talking primarily to you!)
Toward that goal, how about a stress-busting, energy renewing massage? Better yet how about a pedicure and a massage? Best way we know to get the blood flowing, give you a little lift, and drive out some of those big emotional dragons in your life. Give us a call. You will never regret taking care of yourself.
